Cocktail napkins featuring artist-designed abstract fabric and embroidered fern and magnolia designs are a perfect blend of artistry and functionality. Fabric: The cocktail napkins are crafted from high-quality 7.5 oz belgium linen. The fabric is soft and luxurious, giving a delicious texture. The abstract brushwork design on the fabric features vibrant shades of green, chartreuse and magenta. The fabric on the reverse of the napkins was carefully chosen to match the feel and style of the overall design, while adding a nice finish.
Embroidery: The black embroidery designs add that extra tactile dimension to the napkins. The fern and magnolia motifs are taken directly from Laura’s sketchbook drawings and were chosen for their timeless beauty and recurring themes in her paintings.
Size: Each one measures about 6” square. Cocktail napkins are typically smaller in size compared to regular dinner napkins, making them ideal for placing beneath cocktail glasses, appetizer plates or used everyday as coasters on side tables.
Craftsmanship: The attention to detail and precision in designing and creating these napkins was thorough. The fabric design was created in my studio and then was developed with a skilled printer located in the southeastern US. Creating and sizing the fern and magnolia embroidery designs, as well as finish details was done with a skilled fabricator located in Brunswick, GA. Each step ensures that these napkins are a unique work of art.
Versatility: While these napkins are perfect for cocktail parties, they can also be used in various settings, such as formal dinners, garden parties, and everyday as decorative coasters in your home.
